How to use ScamPrism

Two ways to analyze a suspicious message

For email: forward the suspicious email to forward@scamprism.com. A reply will arrive with the threat score, a one-paragraph summary, and a link to the full analysis.

For text messages (SMS): open the main page, paste the full message content into the box, and click Analyze. Results render on the page and are also saved at a unique report URL.

What ScamPrism analyzes

Each message is examined for discrete scam signals — sender spoofing, lookalike domains, URL obfuscation, credential harvesting, urgency tactics, known scam templates, and language anomalies. Each signal is verified against external evidence where applicable. The combined evidence produces a 1–10 threat score and a four-category verdict.

Verdict categories

• Likely Safe (1–3) — no concerning signals, or weak signals contradicted by evidence
• Suspicious (4–6) — some red flags but inconclusive
• Probable Scam (7–8) — multiple confirmed signals, strong pattern match
• Known Scam (9–10) — definitive evidence, verified phishing infrastructure or well-documented scam template

What ScamPrism does not do

• It does not give recommendations. The analysis describes what is observed; decisions about what to do with that information remain with the recipient.
• It does not store user accounts or build profiles. Reports are accessible by their unique URL only.
• It does not contact the original sender or take any action on the recipient's behalf.
